Directions By Road
Chilham is on the A28 midway between Ashford and Canterbury, take the turning to Charing (A252), take the 3rd road to the left (by the fire station) follow directions to village centre. In square, Castle Cottage is to the left of the gate houses, with a small wrought iron gate.
Directions From Chilham Railway Station
From the Railway station (15 minute walk) turn left, cross the A28 at junction, continue past Denmark house, up the avenue. Passing the bus shelter on your right. At “Wool Pack” take right fork up the hill. Having arrived in the village square, Castle Cottage is to the left of the castle gate houses, at the top of school hill.
